Session Two of a two-session Emergency Prep Safety Planning,  facilitated by Cressy Goodwin at no charge. The two sessions are different. Although it is better to attend one session than to miss them both, it is best to attend both sessions. At sessions one and two we will describe the framework for a policy that can effectively manage any number of emergency situations. We will rank & prioritize vulnerability and begin to develop the policy framework.

Cressy writes, “I talk about emergency situations including security but also other emergencies such as fire prevention. Emergency planners often cite that “The worst mischief planners can fall into is the lack of precision of the words they use.” I suggest we start to focus on the FEMA wording (Emergency Preparedness Plan – and planning). One of four sections of the Emergency Preparedness Plan will be an Emergency Response Plan. The other sections are Planning, Mitigation and Recovery.”

Everyone interested is invited to participate in this evaluation and planning process.  Cressy will provide all the handouts for both Sessions 1 & 2.
