Gunsmoke was founded in 1982 and has ever since been playing Classic Country, Western Swing, and Rockabilly throughout the Northeast. Most notably, Gunsmoke performed on the legendary Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree in 2007 and The Shotgun Red Variety Show in 2013. Additionally they have performed on two occasions for both President George Bush Sr. and Jr. during their election campaigns in Connecticut. Gunsmoke has released more than 5 albums in the band’s lifespan. Most recently, the band re-released Road to Nashville in 2014 through the record label, Tate Music Group.
