Groups of USH members do hands-on work with others to increase social justice in the Hartford region. USH groups also offer opportunities to learn about and witness to a variety of social justice issues.
- Noah Webster School tutoring: USH members work weekly with students to reinforce their learning. Contact Brian Harvey (860-674-0105).
- Horace Bushnell Food Pantry in Hartford: For more than 20 years we have supplied canned goods and staples for the HB Food Pantry. Collection boxes are in the front lobby. This is a great family activity.
- Race Matters: In these discussion groups members and friends of USH learn about and live out racial equality. Contact Gloria Mengual.
- Upper Albany NRZ: We are learning how to support the renewal of the Hartford region nearest USH. Contact Ed Savage (860-232-5603).
